Number Announcment

When you change an 08xx or 070x number, Open Telecomcement (CNA) lets you create a message informing your customers of the change.

If you change a telephone number within your organisation, it is important to make this known to your customers.

CNA generates an audio message using our automated dial in access. Callers dialling your obsolete number hear the announcement before their calls are automatically released from the network. They will also be charged at the rate appropriate for the service they were trying to reach.
 

How does it work?

It's simple, we supply you with an 0161 UK landline number with a voice messaging service, which enables you to dial in via an access number and record your own change of number message for your callers to listen to. Then all you have to do is divert your old 08xx or 070x number to this number.
